Recurva ("we", "us", "the app") is a gym-management platform used by gym owners, their staff/trainers, and gym members. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use it, and your choices. By using Recurva you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account & profile: name, phone number, email address, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash), role (owner / staff / member), and profile photo (optional).
- Membership details: gym plan, plan fee, membership start/expiry dates, date of birth (optional, used for birthday reminders), and attendance/check-in records.
- Business details (owners): gym name, address, and business contact information.
- Payment information: when you pay online, payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive a payment confirmation, amount, and transaction reference. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details — those are handled entirely by Razorpay.
- Device & technical: a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), app version, and basic diagnostic/error logs.
Recurva does not access your device camera, contacts, photos library, or precise location.
2. How we use your information
- Create and manage your account and gym membership.
- Process membership renewals and subscription payments (via Razorpay).
- Record attendance and show membership status.
- Send reminders and notifications (e.g. renewal, missed-visit, birthday) that your gym chooses to send.
- Provide gym owners/staff the tools to manage their members.
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and fix problems.
3. How your information is shared
- Within your gym: gym owners and their authorised staff/trainers can view the member information needed to run the gym (name, contact, plan, attendance, payment history).
- Service providers we use:
- We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
4. Data security
All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored as salted one-way hashes and are never readable. Authentication uses secure tokens. Access to member data is restricted to the member's own gym.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account or gym membership is active, and as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights & choices
- Access / correction: you can view and update most profile details in the app, or ask your gym to update them.
- Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing us (see Contact). Some records may be retained where required by law.
- Notifications: you can turn off push notifications in your device settings.
7. Children
Recurva is intended for use by adults (gym owners, staff, and members). It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
